Headaches are a common occurrence and seem to be on the rise with the increase in phone usage. We’re constantly looking down or sitting at computers, which strains the neck and can contribute to headaches.

That’s the bad news.

The good news, chiropractic can help with your headaches, and it’s proven. —-> Headaches: Research That Matters

Research has shown that chiropractic care can provide 50% more relief from headaches. The people in this study who received “spinal manipulative therapy” (chiropractic adjustment) experienced a 50% decrease in her overall pain symptoms. That’s huge! That the difference between an 8/10 and a 4/10 on a pain scale. Imagine trying to work with 8/10 pain. It’s pretty difficult to function at that level of pain, but 4/10 quickly becomes more manageable.

This doesn’t mean that we will or can help every headache, but we are a really great starting point. That’s why we are so different from the other chiropractic clinics. We will refer you for the appropriate medical provider when we don’t think we can help. We aren’t going to string you along. When we can’t help, we won’t hesitate to get you to the right provider, ASAP. See our previous post “Medical Care and Chiropractic Care: Why Teamwork is Essential” for more on our approach to working with your other healthcare providers.

The point of this post is to show you that you don’t have to continue to suffer through your “regular” headaches. Headaches aren’t normal. That’s your body telling you that something isn’t right. Something is causing the pain, and it’s our job to help you identify the cause and provide you with a pathway to correcting it. So, stop suffering and start living. Don’t let headaches become your “normal”. We will do everything we can to help you return to a pain-free “normal”.

We’re committed to our tagline, “Reducing Pain, Improving Lives”.
